ATLIA is not just a game; it is a universe filled with stories, battles, and adventures. Players are drawn into a world where strategy meets creativity. The game combines elements of fantasy and strategy, allowing players to build their decks and engage in epic battles.
In this post, we will uncover the lore behind ATLIA, the inspiration for its creation, and how it has evolved over time. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the game, there is something here for everyone.
The Birth of ATLIA
ATLIA was born from a passion for storytelling and gaming. The creators wanted to develop a game that not only challenged players but also immersed them in a rich narrative. The initial concept began as a simple idea, but it quickly grew into a complex world filled with diverse characters and intricate plots.
The inspiration for ATLIA came from various sources, including mythology, folklore, and classic literature. The creators wanted to blend these elements into a cohesive universe that players could explore. This desire for depth and complexity is what sets ATLIA apart from other trading card games.
As the game began to take shape, the creators focused on developing a unique set of characters. Each character in ATLIA has its own backstory, abilities, and motivations. This attention to detail allows players to connect with the characters on a personal level, making each game feel like a new adventure.
The Lore of ATLIA
The lore of ATLIA is rich and expansive. It is a world where space magic and technology coexist, and where ancient prophecies shape the destinies of its inhabitants. The game is set in a land divided into various universes and worlds, each with its own unique culture and history.
The Factions of ATLIA
The Portanauts: A group of astronaut people that chose to live in the nexus. They live in tribes and use the portals to scavenge the universe for things they need to survive. They have a bond with the dragons to protect the secrets of the universe.
The Council of Atroza: This is a group of antagonists that think they deserve complete dominance over the universe. They are on their journey to try and accomplish this goal as the ultimate governing body of the universe.
The Knights of Atroza: Each member of this group has their own ability, and they are the personal generals of the Council of Atroza. They will do anything and everything to accomplish the goals of the Council.
The Guilds: These are factions of individuals that each govern big vast areas of the universe. They hold the true power in the universe as each faction has unique abilities that allow the members to represent each guild. They fight over territory and keep the peace around the universe. They naturally have their enemies such as the Council of Atroza and The Clans.
The Clan: This is a secret society in the universe. Their motives and goals are unknown to all but themselves. The only thing known about them is they live in the shadows and the sworn enemy to the guilds. It could be ex-guild members out for revenge or any other possibility who these members are.
The Founders: They are the Gods that origins form from a different dimension called Ataria. There are four of them and each hold a part of what makes the fibers of life, and they are known as Knowledge, Feelings, Soul, and Heart. They are galactic siblings that end up forming the whole universe.
The Dragons: There are key planets that protect that journey to the Knowledge founder who holds all secrets of the universe. The dragons are the ancient members of the Council of Atroza who knew they had to protect the universe from evil. Their current members are descendants but lost their way. The dragons are located anywhere there is a clue to finding the Knowledge founder. The dragons have no memory of their ancient lineage. They are also immortal and can be reborn as baby dragons and live in this kind of cycle.
The Atroxa: These are unique creatures that exist in the universe. When the three founder Gods turned on their brethren the Knowledge founder, he is all knowing and blew up the other founders. Gods and energy can't die but only transfer so their fragments were spread out throughout space and wherever they ended up floating the life energy from the shards formed into planets. The energy itself took on the form of creatures called Atroxa. They are cute little creatures who have no idea what they are, they just exist but if you can manage to capture one when it's sleeping you can turn it into its shard form. The only other way to capture them is to battle them. In their general sense they are in their chibi form which is harmless when another Atroxa is close by the battle it keeps the balance of their existence in check but if you can gather enough up you can change the universe forever by bringing back a Founder in their full glory under your control. This can lead to saving the universe or destroying it.
The Chibinauts: These little guys are a cute version of the portalnauts. You never know where they will pop up in the universe of ATLIA. They can be friendly or mischievous and always curious. They are the mascot of the ATLIA company.
Each faction contributes to the overall narrative of ATLIA, providing players with a rich backdrop for their battles. The lore is not just for storytelling; it also influences gameplay. Players can choose characters from different regions, each bringing unique abilities and strategies to the table.
Key Characters
The characters in ATLIA are as diverse as the realms they come from. Here are a few key figures that players may encounter:
Gama the Portalnaut Samurai: He's the main protector of The Nexus. He works directly with the dragons to protect the secrets of the universe. He takes no side but that of The Nexus and protecting the dragons and his friends.
Art M.S: A legendary warrior from The Nexus. He's joined the Knights of Atroza and is one of their top generals. He does their bidding and is an arch enemy of Gama. He has the ability to paint creatures from The Nexus in color, when this is done, he gains complete control over these creatures and can use them to defend and go to battle for him.
Phillip: He's the dragon that personally lives in the Nexus. He protects the Keystone. You need enough shards of Atroxa, an element key, and to able to get past Phillip to be able to form a Founder but if you do you can change the life of everyone in the universe.
Keith: He's the dragon of Burbuila. In the beginning of the story, he is in his reincarnation phase, so he starts off as an egg. Once he hatches, he will begin anew and be able to protect the secrets of the founders once again. In the reincarnation phase it's the only time easy access to the secrets.
These characters not only add depth to the game but also allow players to explore different strategies and playstyles. Each character's unique abilities encourage players to think creatively and adapt their strategies based on their opponents.
